OFFICIAL REGONITION

 

Austria:

The GLE has been recognised as an official institution of training in psychotherapy since the current legislation came into effect in 1993, and it is valid for social insurance.

The counselling diploma has a ministerial recognition in Austria.

 

Switzerland:

The training courses offered by the GLE have been recognised since 2001 as pertaining to mainstream psychotherapy, in the canton of Berne already since 1997, and it is valid for social insurance.

It is also recognized by the Swiss charter of psychotherapy and the Swiss Federation of psychologists.

The counselling curriculum is recognised by the Swiss Association of Counsellors.

 

Germany:

The current legislation allows for recognition only as a supplementary method in the medical formation in psychotherapy.

 

Czech Republic:  

The psychotherapy training offered by the GLE-International was recognised by the state health authorities in 2000 and is valid for social insurance.

 

Romania:

Because of current legislation the training has only been recognised for psychiatrists – no other professional branches obtain any legal recognition for psychotherapy (2009).

 

Canada:

The training can be undergone as a postgraduate studies in the sense of a specialised qualification. The APA –regulations require a standardized curriculum for professional recognition.
